Once a year I seem to manage creating a piece of human related art I am actually proud of... and for this year I think this is it. O_o
This card is for as a thank you... She wanted a portrait of Sean Connery as the Russian submarine Captain Ramius from "Hunt for Red October", a movie I love, too. For this portrait I used a new strategy (new as in, I didn't apply it before): I used a grid on the reference photos and transferred it on the card. This kind of procedure is not new, but I never used it. It's timeconsuming and tiresome as hell... but I think it was worth the while...
In that sense... thanks, Nel, for teaching me to enjoy singing and dancing again, for sharing the adoration for the same hot stuff with me, for helping me out whenever I need it and... all the rest. <3

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
