Ok... let's return to more "digestible" art for you poor sensible souls...
I had finished playing "Okami" a whole while ago but didn't manage to finish my planned game review nor any art considering it. And I don't care if you roll your eyes about this being fan art.  I like doing fan art once in a while. Hrmpf.I thought about what a celestial brush technique Bloodi might represent and I thought it was suitable to let him be the god of chains, immobilizing enemies, fixing stuff and so on. That was really a fun piece to do. :3 Okami is © by Clover EDIT: Removed the black outlines of the red markings. |

We owe it to ourselves to reinterpret it a little.
I think the best part about this is the connection between background and character. There's a sort of hybrid Chinese-Aztec aspect to this that feels nice. Seems more like a rainforest version of the character, especially with the panther-like movement.
