It's once again my nameless female Bloodhound. This was meant to be part of an art trade almost a year ago, but the person wanted to sneak off without fulfilling his part of the trade. Fuck off! How I hate it when that happens. >_>' *grumbles* Anyway. I finally found a meaning for the ceremony of light. It is also called "Way of Light". The meaning is the following. Bloodhounds do have "jobs", even though in a different way, than we on earth have. When a Bloodhound finds out what his true occupation is, the thing he really wants to do for all his life, he passes through the Way of light. It is like a confirmation, that from now on the Hound is a working and dilligent member of the Hound society, using his skills in the best way possible. This lady here decided to become a priestess. Not a healer (which are priests as well) but a keeper of knowledge and history. She teaches other hounds and in general everybody who wants to know about the history of Ileyah and the Bloodhounds. That pose is a whole new realm of dynamic, and the clothing is beautiful, it doesn't cover up the fur but it doesn't look skimpy or yiffy either.

Anyways, geekness aside, other parts that came out especially well were the beautiful sunlit tones of her garments, her exotic jewelry and an interesting pose that almost seems embracing in terms of what she now acquires. Artwork aside, I felt that the “Way of Light” was a very fitting title for its meaning and seems like the ceremony would be something wondrous to behold.
