One of two commissions for Azazel. :)

My fingers, wrist and elbow moan and cry, but I think the effort was worth it. *g* I wanted to try something slightly more daring regarding light and depth with this piece and so I overcame my fear and asked for help in a new board. I think it shows and I am glad I asked. It's still far from being perfect, but except for two areas I am really pleased with how things turned out. Thanks so much for helping me out, guys!

And believe it or not... the bones on the ground were more annoying/ more work than all the dragon scales together. XD At least it felt that way.

I love the leathery quality of the wings, as well as the fact that the dragon's hide actually looks like it would be rough to the touch (like a rhino).
